By: TeX Time: 2007335 03:48Z This morning was at MAPO looking at the issue with the supernova Iridium modem, and found an AMANDA cable on the floor, with its connector end enmeshed in the wiring of RICE. This was at the left end of the rack bank containing racks 11-16(or 15?). This cable is labeled: AMANDA-B Hole #13 but also says: Now 97Tx4 I told one of the science techs to look at the RICE wiring, as they have been having many crashes for the last few days, perhaps this cable fell from the ceiling and has disrupted the RICE wiring? I emailed AMANDA folk about this to see if they know anything about this cable - such as if it is actually used! Do not know when this occurred, I would think I would have noticed yesterday when working on the UPS issues, but perhaps not. Definitely was not there last week though.
