After swaping one disk on sci-sattx, we received many warning messages (>300) about bad sectors found on disk #16 (we now suppose that this was a spare drive). Since disk #2 rebuilding process was complete we changed the drive. Between the removal and the insertion (5 minutes), the machine rebooted unexpectedly.
After that, the raid drive was in read only mode and drive #16 unconfigured (ie not used in the raid setting). The side effect was that SPADE stop the tapping on both sattx1 (2 drives) and sattx2 (2 drives)
After talking over skype with Cindy M. then Tex and Steve B., we decided that the course of action should be (on both machines):
